II. In order to repair a unit under warranty,
all manufacturers require the following information:
- Customer Unit: A copy of the sales slip, customer's
name, address and telephone number.
- Stock Units: A statement on company letterhead
to include: model number, serial number and complaint.
- Rental Units: A copy of the original rental contract.
SERVICE HINTS: Most manufacturers will not
pay for "No Fault Found". Most
manufacturers will permit only one stock repair. JVC does
not pay for shipping charges for repair of dealer stock. Customer
prepays shipping to the service center and manufacturer returns
unit, shipping prepaid.
